This inspection report assessment is designed to determine whether a site poses a threat to human health and the environment. If the site does pose a threat, the app will help contracting officers determine whether the threat requires further investigation.

Instead of filling out site inspection reports by hand, the EPA Preliminary Inspection app handles all the details electronically. Simply generate a new checklist using a smartphone or tablet, and you'll be prompted to run through a list of questions that are common in field inspections. The app covers ground water protection, potential hazards to surface water, containment of hazardous substances and hazardous waste, mold inspections and other important site inspection details. The app was designed for field inspections of all types of buildings, from any large corporate building to a small federal facility.
