If the hoist is used in multiple-shift operations, wire rope should be visually inspected by the operator at the start of each shift. The daily visual inspection by the operator or other qualified person is for visual damage to the wire rope. Such damage includes excessive broken wires and wear, broken strands, kinking, corrosion, birdcaging, or damage resulting in deformation of the wire rope structure. When visual damage is present, the operator shall report such damage to the supervisor, and shall not operate the hoist until a more detailed inspection is performed to determine that the wire rope can be used, or the wire rope is replaced. The Wire Rope report mobile app contains all of the necessary inspection requirements for load equipment safety.

“I’m not a tech guy and I was able to pick this thing up in probably an hour, and actually start to build apps. I’ve done them over lunch when I’ve gotten frustrated with a process that didn’t exist in our company. So for non tech people who’ve got a problem, the support here is awesome and I’d recommend it to anybody, not just in our industry.”
