Failure of any load-bearing part of any lifting equipment is reportable to the Health and Safety Executive as a Dangerous Occurrence under the Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations (1995) (RIDDOR). The STFC has over 5000 registered items of lifting equipment. The failure and/or misuse of lifting equipment is to a large extent preventable, and STFC aims to proactively manage the risks associated with the purchase, storage and use of lifting equipment and lifting accessories. The LOLER (UK): Audit Checklist mobile app records an audit checklist including rating and comments.

Don't take our word for it...

“I’m not a tech guy and I was able to pick this thing up in probably an hour, and actually start to build apps. I’ve done them over lunch when I’ve gotten frustrated with a process that didn’t exist in our company. So for non tech people who’ve got a problem, the support here is awesome and I’d recommend it to anybody, not just in our industry.”
