can use the Fencing Notice of Constructive Change for Additional Work mobile app with a mobile device as a preliminary notice to the property owner also informing general contractors and construction project managers that the fencing subcontractor was directed to perform additional fencing work not described in the original plans or construction contract. The directive to perform the work constitutes a modification to the construction contract and the fencing subcontractor can use the notice to request extra time and compensation for the work. When submitting the preliminary notice the fencing subcontractor may not know how much added time and construction costs to expect. When adequately informed, the fencing subcontractor should submit a change order request for additional compensation relating to the direct costs, disruption, rescheduling, acceleration, overtime, overmanning, stacking of trades, dilution of supervision, cumulative impact of multiple changes and any other impact costs as well as extended overhead and equipment expenses for the increased fencing labor. As soon as the costs can be isolated, calculated, and the additional time necessary to perform the work quantified, the subcontractor can submit a time extension request. This notice assures the project manager of the subcontractors efforts to minimize time extensions and costs . A notice of completion should be submitted for the final payment.

“I’m not a tech guy and I was able to pick this thing up in probably an hour, and actually start to build apps. I’ve done them over lunch when I’ve gotten frustrated with a process that didn’t exist in our company. So for non tech people who’ve got a problem, the support here is awesome and I’d recommend it to anybody, not just in our industry.”
