Concrete pavers or interlock pavers are concrete surface coverings that are stone or brick-like in appearance, yet made from concrete which provides a more durable product at a lower price point. Pavers are designed to interlock together on top of a sand base, in which they settle. Pavers are excellent for stormwater management, aesthetic design, structural design, and low cost. The inspection checklist involves pre-planning, reviewing drawings, performing an aggregate and sand analysis, evaluating concrete pavers for thickness, freeze-thaw durability, and other key metrics, sampling other materials surrounding the pavers, reviewing job references from installers and contractors, evaluating on-site preparation including the pavement surface, and how permeable the substrate/sand is. Site conditions are further evaluated by inspecting the excavation, the foundation walls, the pavers when placed into the job site, the sand delivered to the site, and environmental conditions at the time of installation.

“I’m not a tech guy and I was able to pick this thing up in probably an hour, and actually start to build apps. I’ve done them over lunch when I’ve gotten frustrated with a process that didn’t exist in our company. So for non tech people who’ve got a problem, the support here is awesome and I’d recommend it to anybody, not just in our industry.”
