The owner or the owner’s authorized agent shall be responsible for carrying out the provisions of this fire safety inspection plan, acceptable to the local regulations and building code, and appointing supervisory staff or inspectors to carry out the same in all public assembly buildings, care or detention buildings, all buildings equipped with a fire alarm.
A written record shall be kept of all tests, inspections, maintenance or operational procedures for a period of two years after they are made, and the record shall be made available upon request to the local jurisdiction. The completed form will be stored electronically and can be retrieved by the owner, landlord, tenants, and inspectors.
