The agreement details the address of the property being leased, as well as the lease term beginning and end dates. The total rent for the term of the lease can be entered, as well as the monthly rent that is due, and instructions on how the rent will be collected. There is a deposit agreement laid out where the lessee will give the landlord a security deposit, and that the security deposit should be returned with interest of 5% per year less any damage charges. There are sections in the rental lease agreement detailing possession, subletting, abandonment, and the landlord's right of entry to the property, as well as a list of which utilities the landlord and tenant will be responsible for. Details of maintenance and repairs are included in the rental agreement, as well as a landscaping section showing who should be responsible for lawn care at the premises. A section detailing that pets are not allowed on the premises without written consent of the landlord, are followed by outlines of noise/waste, compliance with the law, waivers, indemnification (recommending renter insurance), and maintenance of dwelling. Finally there is a section detailing the maximum number of occupants allowed under the lease, and addresses where any notices can be sent. The rental agreement ends with a section for signatures from both parties, the landlord and tenant(s). This template provides a detailed lease agreement between landlords and tenants in Massachusetts.

Don't take our word for it...
“I’m not a tech guy and I was able to pick this thing up in probably an hour, and actually start to build apps. I’ve done them over lunch when I’ve gotten frustrated with a process that didn’t exist in our company. So for non tech people who’ve got a problem, the support here is awesome and I’d recommend it to anybody, not just in our industry.”
