This audit app checks to ensure that the local authority has a list of decision making businesses in the area, whether or not the local authority has been ask to act as the home authority for local businesses, whether the local authority currently asks as the home authority for any businesses, and whether the local authority has followed up on referrals made from other local authorities.
These protocols should be used for full audits of local authority's food law enforcement and guidance services. Additional protocols have been developed specifically for authorities with imported food control responsibilities (products not of animal origin) at points of entry into Scotland's sea and air ports. These Protocols will contain a responsibility to protect the public health by food, health and and safety, and preventive control standards.

“I’m not a tech guy and I was able to pick this thing up in probably an hour, and actually start to build apps. I’ve done them over lunch when I’ve gotten frustrated with a process that didn’t exist in our company. So for non tech people who’ve got a problem, the support here is awesome and I’d recommend it to anybody, not just in our industry.”
