The electronic gun sale form allows the buyer to certify that they are not restricted or forbidden by state or federal law to own a firearm, while the seller assumes no responsibility after the transfer of ownership has taken place. The gun sale form can be used by a licensed dealer, or private sales and for retail purchases of a handgun, rifle or shotgun.
