The checklist covers the storage location, the containers, the presence of secondary containment, and whether a spill or release of hazardous waste materials has occurred The app, by default, includes waste types such as antifreeze, batteries, CRTs, laps, mercury devices, and pesticides. Users can add other items if needed. The app prompts the user to identify where the materials are stored, whether the waste containers/storage devices are closed, compatible with the waste materials, in good condition, and properly labeled.
The app also checks for information concerning hazardous materials transported off-site, which may occur for disposal, chemical transfer, or transfer to facility equipped for long-term storage.

“I’m not a tech guy and I was able to pick this thing up in probably an hour, and actually start to build apps. I’ve done them over lunch when I’ve gotten frustrated with a process that didn’t exist in our company. So for non tech people who’ve got a problem, the support here is awesome and I’d recommend it to anybody, not just in our industry.”
