WPQR (Welding Procedure Qualification Record)
If your job is to document how welding is to be carried out in production according to the code requirements laid out in the Welding Procedure Specification (WPS), you will want to download the WPQR (Welding Procedure Qualification Record) Mobile App.
5,000 Companies save time and money with GoCanvas
With this app on your iPhone, iPad or an Android device, you will have all the specifications and information you need - right in the palm of your hands.
The WPQR app holds the information pertaining to the welding procedure test used on the project. In order to demonstrate that your company has the ability to produce welds with the correct mechanical and metallurgical properties needed for the welding job, use the app to capture the welding parameters. The welding engineer and welders can work together to identify the essential variables such as metal, material, pipe diameter, thickness, position etc., and to assess the result of the mechanical or nondestructive test weld.
The WPQR app is fully customizable designed to meet the welding procedures set forth in the Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) for the job.
Results can be entered for non-destructive testing including visual inspection, ultrasonic testing, radiographic testing, and magnetic particle testing. Destructive testing results include tensile testing, with parameters including dimension, area, break load, elongation, and location and character of fractures. Bend testing, notched bar impact test, and hardness tests are also included.
Once the WPQR is completed, collect the electronic signatures of the laboratory staff and witness, and save the form safely and securely to the GoCanvas Cloud. Generate a PDF form and send the completed WPQR to all the appropriate parties as required.

Don't take our word for it...
“I’m not a tech guy and I was able to pick this thing up in probably an hour, and actually start to build apps. I’ve done them over lunch when I’ve gotten frustrated with a process that didn’t exist in our company. So for non tech people who’ve got a problem, the support here is awesome and I’d recommend it to anybody, not just in our industry.”
