Auto Recycling Industry Compliance: Non-Stormwater Discharge Certification
The Auto Recycling Industry Compliance: Non-Stormwater Discharge Certification app allows for a professional engineer to inspect and certify that an automobile facility has discharge that is only stormwater.
5,000 Companies save time and money with GoCanvas
The professional engineer will perform inspections of the facility including the storm drainage system, salvage yard, and other drainage points for any potential hazardous waste or other water pollutants. Observation of all facility plans for water pollution prevention, data monitoring, and potential non-stormwater discharges in dry weather will be provided before any permits are issued.
For a non-stormwater discharge certificate to be issued, the professional engineer will find no evidence of hazardous waste or other non-stormwater discharges in the catch basin, stormwater pipe, sewer system, or in any waste water analytics. State regulations should be considered when inspecting the salvage yard and vehicle recycling facility. If there are any non-permitted discharges, the professional engineer can provide addendum to the certificate with estimated dates of the elimination of the pollutants in the water runoff.

“I’m not a tech guy and I was able to pick this thing up in probably an hour, and actually start to build apps. I’ve done them over lunch when I’ve gotten frustrated with a process that didn’t exist in our company. So for non tech people who’ve got a problem, the support here is awesome and I’d recommend it to anybody, not just in our industry.”
