When reviewing a hazardous situation, emergency management may determine that a crime has been committed. After law enforcement has stabilized any dangerous situations or persons, the EMT responders provide medical attention to a trauma victim or other injured person, while minimizing contamination of the scene. In some instances, personal protective equipment will be needed, such as latex gloves or a bullet-proof vest. Emergency medical care personnel can greatly benefit from using the app to have established guidelines for effectively providing emergency medicine procedures at a crime scene.
This app will also benefit law enforcement responders who have the responsibility for protecting crime scenes, preserving physical evidence, and collecting and submitting the evidence for scientific examination. Physical evidence has the potential to play a critical role in the overall investigation and resolution of a suspected criminal act. Realization of this potential depends on actions taken early in the criminal investigation at the crime scene.

“I’m not a tech guy and I was able to pick this thing up in probably an hour, and actually start to build apps. I’ve done them over lunch when I’ve gotten frustrated with a process that didn’t exist in our company. So for non tech people who’ve got a problem, the support here is awesome and I’d recommend it to anybody, not just in our industry.”
