Mine Inspector Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) Worksheet

Mine inspectors are often the front line in evaluating the safety conditions in mines. In performing an inspection, the mine safety inspector may be entering a mine that is wrought with safety hazards and health dangers. Mine inspectors may be operating in a confined space, in mining operations that have eschewed safety procedures, and must work in close proximity to dangerous conditions when doing hazard identification and hazard assessment work. This app helps improve workplace safety for mine inspectors by having these individuals note each job step or occupational task, perform a risk assessment for each of those tasks, and to identify hazard mitigation strategies and controls that can be enacted to improve occupational health and job safety in mining operations.
