A railroad police officer provides services of both police and detectives by policing railways, and investigating crimes such as theft from rail yards, theft from train cars, murders and assaults that take place on rail lines and at rail yards, and more. These safety officers may be employed by a metro or subway company (for example, WMATA in the D.C. area, the Transit Authority in New York/New Jersey, or BART in San Francisco), a train company (such as CSX or Amtrak), of the Federal Railroad Administration. These officers may be commissioned police officers, or serve as a special agent when operating under federal jurisdiction. Working in these positions presents these these law enforcement officers with threats such as those posed by working on or near moving trains, arresting violent criminals, and handling hazardous materials. Through this app, each job step can be noted, risks can be identified, and hazards mitigated.

Don't take our word for it...

“I’m not a tech guy and I was able to pick this thing up in probably an hour, and actually start to build apps. I’ve done them over lunch when I’ve gotten frustrated with a process that didn’t exist in our company. So for non tech people who’ve got a problem, the support here is awesome and I’d recommend it to anybody, not just in our industry.”
