Radon gas is naturally found all around the earth, with varying levels based on geology of an area. Typically, concentrations of radon gases are low, however, in buildings, particularly lower levels of buildings, high radon levels are often present. As radon is a radioactive materials, the elevated radon levels can contribute to illnesses such as lung cancer, and possibly leukemia. Radon testing helps to identify if a radon problem exists or not. In the event that a building's radon measurement is high, mitigation systems can be installed such as sub-slab depressurization systems which vent radon into the air outside of a building where concentration levels cannot elevate. Using this app, a consumer can check information about the credentials on a radon contractor, the inspection and radon test the contractor used, whether a warranty is offered on the installation of any radon mitigation systems, and more.

“I’m not a tech guy and I was able to pick this thing up in probably an hour, and actually start to build apps. I’ve done them over lunch when I’ve gotten frustrated with a process that didn’t exist in our company. So for non tech people who’ve got a problem, the support here is awesome and I’d recommend it to anybody, not just in our industry.”
