Checklist for Paving

The Checklist for Paving app is a useful checklist that offers a thorough set of guidelines to accomplish before paving and after paving. The checklist covers important materials and standard specifications. Before paving tasks include things such as: ensure that asphalt contractors and producers are all on the approved lists provided annually by the lab, remind the contractor to implement the paving policy and procedures received in the pre-construction meeting, etc. Tasks to consider during paving include: observe arriving loads for proper mix size, minimal segregation, consistent color, and being tarp covered, collect and check asphalt delivery tickets for correct information (project name, mix ID, tonnage, time, etc.) check HMA temperature while being loaded into the paver, and/or behind the roller, after its first pass, etc.
