Equality Impact Assessment (UK)

All learners are of equal value, Relevant differences should be recognised, Workforce development, Positive attitudes and relationships should be fostered, Society as a whole should benefit, Current inequalities and barriers should be addressed and reduced, and Policy development should involve widespread consultation. To promote equality of opportunity, the Equality Act applies to school provisions. The Equality Impact Assessment (UK) app allows school users to recognize any policies or service(s) that may have an adverse impact. Users can fill out the template to identify the main aims of the policy, decision or function to ensure all protocol promotes equality and diversity. General issues for consideration can include: accessibility, staffing proposals, families, sexual orientation, disability, and more. The app encourages users to consider all equality groups.
