Compliance evaluation inspections (CEIs) are regularly performed, on-site inspections and evaluations of a hazardous waste handler's compliance with various regulations and permitting standards which are adopted from the EPA by the state of Texas. The purpose of the CEI is to gather information necessary to determine compliance and support enforcement actions related to disposal facilities and hazardous waste management. Waste disposal facilities and other industrial facilities must abide by emission standards and safety requirements set forth by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. The Texas Industrial Hazardous Waste CEI Subpart CC Checklist app contains a set of regulatory requirements for facility review. The app features important compliance evaluation items such as: Does the facility have any valves, pumps, compressors, pressure relief devices, sampling connection systems, flanged pipe open-ended valve or line that contain or contact hazardous wastes greater than 10 percent organics? Has the identification number and type of each piece of equipment been included in the record along with the associated waste management unit? Were pumps in light liquid service and valves in gas/vapor or light liquid service monitored monthly by Method 21? Inspectors can use the Texas Industrial Hazardous Waste CEI Subpart CC Checklist app to conduct inspections and mark any violations that need to be corrected.

“I’m not a tech guy and I was able to pick this thing up in probably an hour, and actually start to build apps. I’ve done them over lunch when I’ve gotten frustrated with a process that didn’t exist in our company. So for non tech people who’ve got a problem, the support here is awesome and I’d recommend it to anybody, not just in our industry.”
