The Master and Officers should upon joining the ship learn all ship particulars and characteristics. The Master should ensure that the Officers and crew are made aware of their respective responsibilities. Each Officer and crew member should understand the contents of this app. The app covers questions like the following: Control and maintenance of the cargo condition during the voyage. During the voyage, the Pumpman shall check cargo level, temperature and if appropriate inert gas O2 concentration. Cargo level can be controlled from the cargo control room. If a drop of the level is noted, the cause of the change must be investigated. If the cause is not the temperature drop, it shall be ascertained that there is no tank leakage. The Chief Officer shall record the cargo temperature in the Cargo Heating Record. The Crude Oil Cargo Procedures: Transport of Oil mobile app allows you to replace your paper procedures with a smartphone, tablet or computer. The mobile form includes fields to document items such as date, vessel name and ID, inspection of general orders, inspector details and captures the inspector's signature. Once the mobile app is filled out a secure PDF is generated. The PDF is easy to share, and a copy is stored in your account for your crude oil records. You can also use the App Builder to personalize and customize this mobile form.

“I’m not a tech guy and I was able to pick this thing up in probably an hour, and actually start to build apps. I’ve done them over lunch when I’ve gotten frustrated with a process that didn’t exist in our company. So for non tech people who’ve got a problem, the support here is awesome and I’d recommend it to anybody, not just in our industry.”
