The owner is required to quarantine their animal at home for observation of the rabies virus for at least ten days. This app will provide animal control officers the details they need to share with the owners, as well as collect information they need, to quarantine an animal. The owner will be required to provide proof the pet has a rabies vaccination certificate, agrees to a quarantine period of 10 days with limited exposure to other animals, and that the quarantined animal will only be allowed on a leash when outside for the duration of the quarantine period. The pet's veterinarian will be made aware of the quarantine. This app also permits the animal control officer to examine the property and clearly outlines the dates of the animal quarantine. The owner should observe the animal for any abnormal behavior or signs of rabies after the animal bite as this could become a public health concern. If there are any clinical signs of rabies, an exam by a veterinarian may be required, and the owner must contact animal control officers. This app will be signed by the pet owner.

“I’m not a tech guy and I was able to pick this thing up in probably an hour, and actually start to build apps. I’ve done them over lunch when I’ve gotten frustrated with a process that didn’t exist in our company. So for non tech people who’ve got a problem, the support here is awesome and I’d recommend it to anybody, not just in our industry.”
