In most cases, a pet owner is required to quarantine their pet at home or quarantine facility for observation of symptoms of the rabies virus for the incubation period and report any observed symptoms of rabies to a licensed veterinarian. The Rabies Vaccination and Quarantine Release Form app will collect, from veterinarians and the pet owner, the details about the rabies exposed pet, as well a document information during the animals quarantine period. The owner will be required to provide proof the pet has a rabies vaccination certificate or booster vaccination. The pet owner should observe the animal for any abnormal behavior or signs of rabies after the animal bite as this could become a public health concern. If there are any clinical signs of rabies during the observation period, an exam by a veterinarian may be required, and the owner must contact the health department. This app will be signed by both the pet owner and veterinarian.

“I’m not a tech guy and I was able to pick this thing up in probably an hour, and actually start to build apps. I’ve done them over lunch when I’ve gotten frustrated with a process that didn’t exist in our company. So for non tech people who’ve got a problem, the support here is awesome and I’d recommend it to anybody, not just in our industry.”
