Due to child labor laws, children under 18 years of age are required to obtain a work permit. The app will walk the student through the process of getting a work permit, including outlining the proof of age documentation needed (birth certificate, age certificate or baptismal certificate) and clarify the hours during the school week that they are permitted to work. A student will also need a parent or legal guardian to acknowledge that they are aware the student is seeking employment, and have school officials also sign the app. The employer will also need to sign the form and agree not to require the student to work during school hours, acknowledge they understand the number of hours the student can work during the school year, will not expose them to dangerous occupations, and will offer a fair wage and worker's compensation.

“I’m not a tech guy and I was able to pick this thing up in probably an hour, and actually start to build apps. I’ve done them over lunch when I’ve gotten frustrated with a process that didn’t exist in our company. So for non tech people who’ve got a problem, the support here is awesome and I’d recommend it to anybody, not just in our industry.”
