A work permit will hold the employer accountable for maintaining child labor laws. This will mean that children cannot work in hazardous occupations, they will not be required to work during school hours, they will be limited in the number of hours they work per week, and that they will be receiving minimum wage. This app for a Work Permit Application will need to be completed by the issuing officer at the minor's school, their parent or guardian, and the employer. The minor will need to determine what type of permit they are applying for (regular work permit, vacation work permit, or theatrical work permit) and provide documentation for proof of age, including a birth certificate, social security card and a letter of intent to hire from a perspective employer. Depending on the type of permit the student is applying for, they may also need to get a physical form their doctor.

“I’m not a tech guy and I was able to pick this thing up in probably an hour, and actually start to build apps. I’ve done them over lunch when I’ve gotten frustrated with a process that didn’t exist in our company. So for non tech people who’ve got a problem, the support here is awesome and I’d recommend it to anybody, not just in our industry.”
