This app will provide the user, most likely a lab manager or other lab personnel, with a safety checklist to get settled into a lab. Safety equipment is crucial to the set up of a lab. Eyewash stations, fire extinguishers, and decontamination supplies should all be accessible. Particular detail should be given to hazardous materials. Chemical inventory and waste should be segregated appropriately by hazard class, stored and labeled, and the chemical fume hoods should be inspected. Storage for biological waste and materials should be examined, and personal protective safety equipment (PPE) should be accessible to lab staff. Medical Pathological Waste (MPW) boxes should be installed. Radioactive material and waste should be properly labeled and secured. General laboratory procedures should be put in place. Creating a culture of safety in the lab from the outset will give employees a safe work environment, and ensure environmental health and safety in the workplace.

Don't take our word for it...

“I’m not a tech guy and I was able to pick this thing up in probably an hour, and actually start to build apps. I’ve done them over lunch when I’ve gotten frustrated with a process that didn’t exist in our company. So for non tech people who’ve got a problem, the support here is awesome and I’d recommend it to anybody, not just in our industry.”
