Freight Shipment: Shipper's Letter of Instructions
An important requirement of shipping is the creation of export documents, one of which is the shipper's letter of instruction.

The letter is crucial to detail specific shipment instructions from the originating exporter to a forwarding agent - an international freight forwarder for customs purposes. The Freight Shipment: Shipper's Letter of Instructions app allows the exporter to detail all necessary shipment details to be declared for the preparation of Shipping Bill (value, insurance, commission, discount, etc). The description of goods to be declared can be entered, as well as the number of packages and net and gross shipping weight. The app includes a number of shipping bill types that can be selected, including free trade sample, duty-free commercial, repair and return - all can be fully customized depending on the customer needs. Finally, there is a checklist included ensuring the necessary documents have been completed for foreign shipping that includes export invoice, packing list, and export declaration.

“I’m not a tech guy and I was able to pick this thing up in probably an hour, and actually start to build apps. I’ve done them over lunch when I’ve gotten frustrated with a process that didn’t exist in our company. So for non tech people who’ve got a problem, the support here is awesome and I’d recommend it to anybody, not just in our industry.”
