An SDF (statutory declaration form) form is a document that needs to be provided to customs authorities by an exporter to demonstrate that shipping bills are accurate.

The amount paid by the buyer must be demonstrated as being the same as the full export value on the shipping bill. The export document is part of the Declaration under Foreign Exchange Regulation Act, 1973 and is required for shipping cargo to a foreign consignee, and is one of many documents required that can be completed electronically using these apps. A duplicate copy can be emailed to any address to keep records of the shipment and shipping documents as a receipt or as part of future audits.
