Impressed Current Log
The Impressed Current Log app is a useful tool in performing regularly evaluations and maintenance of an impressed current system.

The app prompts the user to pull information from an impressed current rectifier every two months. The data collected includes the date of reading, whether the power is on, readings of voltage and amps, and the initials of the person taking readings from the current rectifier. By evaluating these figures regularly, one can determine it the cathodic protection systems are working, and if the current systems in place are preventing corrosion sufficiently. If readings do not indicate the operation of the cathodic protection systems, then a corrosion expert or corrosion engineers can be contacted to ensure that corrosion control systems are in place and that pipelines, storage tanks, or any other metal structure are not experiencing corrosion.

“I’m not a tech guy and I was able to pick this thing up in probably an hour, and actually start to build apps. I’ve done them over lunch when I’ve gotten frustrated with a process that didn’t exist in our company. So for non tech people who’ve got a problem, the support here is awesome and I’d recommend it to anybody, not just in our industry.”
