Cone crushers represent an excellent example of this. Cone crushers operate on a fairly basic principle which can be easily understood when looking at a device, however, as technology has changed, so have these devices. There are now four types of cone crushers: the compound cone crusher, a spring cone crusher, a hydraulic cone crusher, and a gyratory crusher, and each of these crusher types is further segmented. Operating similarly to a gyratory crusher, a cone crusher breaks rock by squeezing the rock between a gyrating cylinder cone component, which is covered by a wear-resistant cover, and a hopper, covered by a durable liner. The rock enters through a feeder at the top of the cone and becomes lodged and crushed between the two pieces. Larger rock and ore pieces are broken and then fall to a lower position where the cycle continues until small pieces of rock are remaining at the bottom. This crushing equipment is often found on mining sites, and in other industrial settings. The crusher machine price is often somewhat high as crusher technology has developed significantly. This means that these valuable pieces of equipment should be maintained with great diligence and care. The HST Cone Crusher Machine Inspection app is a great tool for performing inspections of crushing devices. The app notes information about the operator, the inspector, and the crushing equipment. Any defects or problems can be noted, and corrective actions can be taken and documented to ensure that the crusher plant and rock crusher can operate without hindrance.

Don't take our word for it...
“I’m not a tech guy and I was able to pick this thing up in probably an hour, and actually start to build apps. I’ve done them over lunch when I’ve gotten frustrated with a process that didn’t exist in our company. So for non tech people who’ve got a problem, the support here is awesome and I’d recommend it to anybody, not just in our industry.”
