The Flammable Combustible Hazardous Materials Activity Hazard Analysis (AHA) app is used for hazard evaluation and creating an accident prevention plan when work may include flammable and combustible liquids and materials. Requirements include that flammable and combustible materials must be stored in approved containers and workers must comply with container labeling requirements. Flammable and combustible liquids should be stored in the smallest container conducive for completing the work. Regular monitoring for operations involving flammable and combustible liquids is required. Workers must be prepared with personal protective equipment for respiratory protection and exposure to chemical hazards. The user can identify the potential hazards for each activity and safe work practices to minimize risk. This app should be used before the start of the project as part of an overall safety plan in order to protect the health and safety of all personnel in the work area.
