Beekeepers can use the app to record and document the source of a bee colony and note the type of bee source such as packaged bees, nucleus colony, swarm capture, split or united.

The app allows the beekeeper to add comments regarding the acquisition of honey bee hives. The Colony Source Record mobile app allows you to replace your paper record with an iPhone, Android, tablet or Windows desktop computer. The mobile form includes fields to document items such as hive number, the source of bees, acquisition date, behavioral health of hive on receipt and isolated. Once the mobile app is filled out a secure PDF is generated. The PDF is easy to share, and a copy is stored in your account for your beekeeping records. You can also use the App Builder to personalize and customize this mobile form.
