A food service facility's safety program should include provisions for engaging in a standard process if such occurrence is reported. The SOP Food Safety Hygiene Checklist: Physical Hazard Incident Report app will guide the user through the procedures for documenting and reporting incidents in which a physical hazard is found in food served. With the app, the user can note the date and time of the report, any hazard identifications performed, and a brief summary of the incident. The user can record symptoms and duration resulting from the food consumption, along with health treatment undergone, results of an investigation, and any corrective actions taken as a result of the incident. The outcomes of this process, should inform preventive controls and influence the food safety program at the facility. The app is an important part of a food safety plan and should also be covered in training for any food handlers.

Don't take our word for it...
“I’m not a tech guy and I was able to pick this thing up in probably an hour, and actually start to build apps. I’ve done them over lunch when I’ve gotten frustrated with a process that didn’t exist in our company. So for non tech people who’ve got a problem, the support here is awesome and I’d recommend it to anybody, not just in our industry.”
