The lathe is also used for boring, sanding, drilling, facing, and other functions that require turning a workpiece. In order to achieve precision with the tool, the lathe should be calibrated at regular intervals. The Manual Lathe Calibration Procedure provides guidelines for calibrating the tool. The three-step process for calibration includes useful images and diagrams. For each test characteristic, the app outlines the test method and acceptable limits. With the app, the technician will check both the x-axis and z-axis scales. The accompanying diagrams will assist the app user in identifying each part of the tool for and proper position while conducting an inspection of the lathe. With this app, a technician can engage in proper calibration techniques which will allow for high accuracy in lathe use.

Don't take our word for it...

“I’m not a tech guy and I was able to pick this thing up in probably an hour, and actually start to build apps. I’ve done them over lunch when I’ve gotten frustrated with a process that didn’t exist in our company. So for non tech people who’ve got a problem, the support here is awesome and I’d recommend it to anybody, not just in our industry.”
