This cutting process is used frequently in the engineering industry. With the Manual Mill Calibration Procedure app, an engineer using a manual mill can regularly calibrate the cutting tool to maintain accuracy. The app user should record the calibration process with the Manual Mill Calibration Record Sheet. The app user will find a five-step process that includes images and diagrams of the parts of the tool. For each test characteristic, the app user will find specific instructions for the test methods used to properly calibrate the characteristic and the acceptable limits. Test characteristics include the x-axis scale, y-axis scale, and z-axis scale. The technician will calibrate the indicator dial and digital readout for each.

“I’m not a tech guy and I was able to pick this thing up in probably an hour, and actually start to build apps. I’ve done them over lunch when I’ve gotten frustrated with a process that didn’t exist in our company. So for non tech people who’ve got a problem, the support here is awesome and I’d recommend it to anybody, not just in our industry.”
