While the producers may have their own trucks, this is often a job that is outsourced to another company. Either way, a thorough inspection of the truck, including cleaning and sanitizing should be conducted with each shipment to ensure optimal shipping conditions and safe transportation of the vegetables and to ensure adherence to best management practices (BMPs).
