The application process is for individuals or a business interested in conducting research on industrial hemp production or the production of CBD products which are made from the hemp plant or cannabis plant with ultra-low concentrations of THC. The pilot program is administered by the Department of Agriculture and is authorized within marijuana industry regulations.
