The depth dial gauge must be calibrated in order to obtain a measurement with high accuracy. The Depth Dial Indicator Record Form app is used alongside the Depth Dial Indicator Calibration Procedure app to document data from the calibration procedure. The app user will indicate the calibration procedure and calibration interval along with the type of depth dial indicator, location, shop, and ambient temperature during the procedure. The app user will capture measurements from each step of the procedure from conducting a visual inspection of the device to standard values and measured values of the pin attachment and the varying lengths of extension rods. As the user follows instructions to measure and calibrate the depth dial gauge, they can record values to ensure the accuracy of the device.

“I’m not a tech guy and I was able to pick this thing up in probably an hour, and actually start to build apps. I’ve done them over lunch when I’ve gotten frustrated with a process that didn’t exist in our company. So for non tech people who’ve got a problem, the support here is awesome and I’d recommend it to anybody, not just in our industry.”
