A rectifier is used to convert the transformer output voltage to a DC voltage. The measuring device of the DC power supply circuit should be calibrated annually to ensure power supply accuracy. The DC Power Supply Calibration Procedure app will guide a technician through a step-by-step process to take and record the measurement of the DC voltage of the circuit. The app user will begin by recording the ambient temperature to ensure that the location is appropriate to test the equipment. Next, the app user will connect the calibration device to the DC power supply positive terminal and negative terminal. Finally, the app user will select each DC voltage from minimum to maximum and record the measurement of each. This manual should be used in conjunction with the DC Power Supply Calibration Record Form app.

“I’m not a tech guy and I was able to pick this thing up in probably an hour, and actually start to build apps. I’ve done them over lunch when I’ve gotten frustrated with a process that didn’t exist in our company. So for non tech people who’ve got a problem, the support here is awesome and I’d recommend it to anybody, not just in our industry.”
