The multimeter must be calibrated in order to ensure that the equipment is providing accurate measurements. The Multimeter Calibration Procedure app provides a manual to effectively calibrate the measuring device. The app user will begin by recording the ambient temperature. If the temperature is not in the appropriate range, the verification should be conducted at an alternative location. Using the app, the technician conducting the calibration will find step-by-step instructions for the calibration procedure, from connecting the meter to the simulators voltage and making appropriate selections on the meter selector switch to recording measured values of voltage, resistance, and current throughout the process. The technician will also find instructions to verify AC Voltage. After performing the calibration, the technician can make any necessary adjustment to gain accuracy with the device.

“I’m not a tech guy and I was able to pick this thing up in probably an hour, and actually start to build apps. I’ve done them over lunch when I’ve gotten frustrated with a process that didn’t exist in our company. So for non tech people who’ve got a problem, the support here is awesome and I’d recommend it to anybody, not just in our industry.”
