UAV Safety Checklist

Every drone pilot or operator should ensure that they are adhering to the rules and drone regulations stipulated by the various governing bodies applicable to their environment and equipment such as Federal Aviation Administration regulations. All UAVs / Drones / Transmitters / Receivers and Flight Controllers should be well maintained for airworthiness at all times. The app prompts users to perform an assessment of their environment including local weather, hazards, wind speed, and site hazards. Additionally, an equipment evaluation and assessment include checking wiring, transmitters, propellers, and all other important drone/UAV components to ensure that they are in functioning and working order. This also provides the operator with the opportunity to calibrate any equipment ahead of time. A pre-flight checklist, in-flight checklist, and post-flight checklist ensure that the experience is not only rewarding but also safe.
