The app prompts the user to document items such as the plant the lube oil system is located, the location within the plant of the system, the job number, the equipment, the system designation, the date of testing, and any test equipment used. Equipment data collected includes the oil pump manufacturer, the model and serial number of the pump, the flow rating, the pressure rating, and more. Other equipment data includes heather, cooler, and centrifuge data. A visual and mechanical inspection includes many key checkpoints including the exterior of the equipment, the assembly of the equipment, the equipment rotation, electrical/mechanical interlocks, instrumentation, grounding, insulation, lubrication of equipment, bracing, leaks, and more. The calibration and set point section of the app checks for proper calibration and evaluation of sensors, controllers, and actuators. Finally, the lube system test includes checking the pump, heater, cooler, engine, and more. The user of the app can include general notes about the test results as well.

“I’m not a tech guy and I was able to pick this thing up in probably an hour, and actually start to build apps. I’ve done them over lunch when I’ve gotten frustrated with a process that didn’t exist in our company. So for non tech people who’ve got a problem, the support here is awesome and I’d recommend it to anybody, not just in our industry.”
