Some types of this equipment can be so large that they need to be built on-site! Typically, the equipment is operated by a dragline bucket being dragged by wire ropes through the materials such as sand and gravel that needs to be excavated, collecting it for loading. Operating these large excavators requires training. The Dragline Excavator Operator Log app should be used by a trainee to document their hands-on training. The training will also include how to operate the foot pedals, hand signals, and maintenance of the equipment. These types of excavators will also require the operator to have a commercial driver's license and knowledge of the equipment.

“I’m not a tech guy and I was able to pick this thing up in probably an hour, and actually start to build apps. I’ve done them over lunch when I’ve gotten frustrated with a process that didn’t exist in our company. So for non tech people who’ve got a problem, the support here is awesome and I’d recommend it to anybody, not just in our industry.”
