Air Sparging Performance Checklist
This checklist is meant to assist the team in evaluating the overall performance of an in situ air sparging (ISAS) system for removing volatile contaminants from groundwater.

The checklist provides suggestions for information gathering and records data and notes from the site visit. Verify that the treatment objectives established when the air sparging system was designed and installed are clear and still valid. In-situ air sparging systems are typically used to remediate groundwater contamination plumes through volatilization of the contaminants to the vadose zone, and to stimulate bioremediation in the saturated zone or in both the vadose and saturated zones. Clean up goals can include the reduction of contaminant concentrations to below some standard either throughout the plume or downgradient of a sparging line/trench. If bioremediation is desired, the objectives may be to achieve and sustain an adequate level of oxygen and nutrients in the target zone, with the anticipation that bioremediation will achieve a specified cleanup level. The Air Sparging Performance Checklist mobile app allows you to replace your paper checklist with a mobile device like a smartphone or tablet. The mobile form includes fields to document items such as installation name, site name /ID, evaluation team, site visit date, and supplemental notes. Once the mobile app is filled out a secure PDF is generated. The PDF is easy to share, and a copy is stored in your account for your air quality control records. You can also use the App Builder to personalize and customize this mobile form.

Don't take our word for it...
“I’m not a tech guy and I was able to pick this thing up in probably an hour, and actually start to build apps. I’ve done them over lunch when I’ve gotten frustrated with a process that didn’t exist in our company. So for non tech people who’ve got a problem, the support here is awesome and I’d recommend it to anybody, not just in our industry.”
